I thought that Sing was actually like the only one who thought about what she was going to do and it turned out that she was right. I don't think that the other children thought like her . . . they didn't actually give it the time. When they mentioned the warrios it made me think of a movie I saw and my great grandma went to China and brought me back a warrior . .. I forget what kind of warrior it was but it is very cool and it is stone and my teacher has one also. It's molded after the remains of the warriors in a temple. There was a god that lived on a mountain who was angry at the world and a little bird came up one day and he told the bird that he wanted the world on fire by tonight. The little bird warned everyone on the villages in China and they came up with the idea to make red lanters . . .red, yellow orange to make it look like fire and put a light inside and that night they all went out and they helped them hang the lanters and the god was so pleased because he thought the bird had caught the world on fire but actually the bird saved them. One of my teachers showed us a video about this story and the story is from China also. They were making paper lanterns for the Chinese New Year. In the book they were making masks to scare about the evil spirits and the god got scared when he saw the lanterns becasue he thought the world would catch on fire.

What a story!I have never heard the story before--but just so you know, I live in Taiwan, a place next to China with pure Chinese culture!I grow up with Chinese ancient stories.
Let me share something about those stories which inspired me. Chinese value philosophy. Some of grown-ups want us to think, and there were some Chinese philosophers had enthusiasm in telling interesting stories about what to do is right and what would last forever in this world. As for the truth, senior high school students like me have to learn about those stories in History class. Some of them are too difficult to understand. It's not as interesting as before now.But it's a wonderful chance for you ti read a story like the book. Enjoy and think more!
